Meet Anny, our Adoptable Dog of the Week. Anny is a senior Brittany from Jackson, MS. She is housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Anny’s Story:

Anny is a 10-year-old breeder surrender. She has been an outside dog her entire life and is learning what being in a home means. She is wonderful with other dogs, curious about cats. She is very timid and skittish, not knowing what this new life is about. There is no aggression in her at all. In fact, she was caught playing with another dog today. She loves running in the yard. She does not seem particularly birdy. She won’t come when called but if you walk toward her she will stop and follow you into the house. Amazingly she has had no accidents at all in her crate at night. She is now eating well.

Anny has been on HW preventative but will have a HW test at her vet visit. She is not spayed as she had been a brood bitch. She will be spayed prior to adoption and depending on her blood chemistry panel. She needs a dental done also which will be done at time of spay.

Anny has lots of life left in her and is a very sweet girl. She deserves to live her senior years with a family who will give her lots of love and attention and show her what life is about. She would not be a dog for small children as she is a senior.
