Meet Dukes, our Adoptable Dog of the Week from Adoptadog.com. This senior from Mays Landing, NJ still has lots of life in him and wants to find a home to call his own. A small dog that will fit into many different types of households, he is a Tibetan Spaniel Mix that is already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Dukes’ Story:

From Dukes’ Foster Mom: Dukes is a very good dog, about 9 yrs. old. We believe him to be a Tibetan Spaniel (Tibbie) mix. He is kind and tolerant to my 3 other dogs. Sometimes they bark, but no fighting. He looks like a handsome mini Golden Retriever, with a white face mask and beautiful movie star eyes. He is good on a leash, shares food from a couple of bowls on the floor, and goes outside to do his business. He only chews on dog toys, and he is like a big dog in a small body. He sleeps well on a bed on the floor and hasn’t jumped on any furniture.

I hope someone will be kind to Dukes and love him, because he deserves it. He is intelligent and good with my nieces who are 13. He hasn’t met any cats since he’s been here, but he could easily beat up my naughty Chin who teases him. However, he only barks at her when she gets too annoying. He likes to lie at my feet, and follows me about. He is an old fashioned GOOD DOG!
