Oscar is all business when he’s wearing this DIY Dog Collar and Tie. From the office to a night on the town, he’s dressed to impress… on a tight budget!

Whether it’s a family portrait, a job interview, or a first date, you need to dress to impress! After all, you only get one chance to make a first impression. If you want to stand out from the pack, make a fashion statement, and look as sharp as Oscar does, you need to get your human to make you a DIY Dog Collar and Tie.

Even though Oscar looks like he just stepped off the cover of DGQ (that’s Dog Gentleman Quarterly), I made this collar and tie ensemble for next to nothing. The shirt and tie were purchased at my local thrift store, and I already had the other elements on hand.

It took me about 15 minutes to make – if fact, it took longer for the hot glue to dry than it did putting the whole look together. I made two for Oscar, because he does like to look smart at the dog park.
