You only need 3 ingredients to make a natural anti-itch spray your pooch will love!

Along with the year’s first sunny days, spring brings some less popular gifts as well: allergies, fleas, ticks, and don’t forget the miscellaneous itching fests. I can’t put my finger on it, but for some reason, dogs tend to get really itchy in the spring. That’s why this all-natural, inexpensive itch-relieving spray is a great thing to have on hand.

For this DIY anti-itch dog spray, you’ll need just 3 ingredients that you already have in your pantry and less than 15 minutes of your time. Helping soothe your pet’s irritated skin without breaking the bank- can it get more pawesome than that?

    Instructions

    1. Brew chamomile tea and set aside to cool.

2.Once the tea is lukewarm, mix it with distilled water and vinegar. Shake (or stir, if you’re not James Bond) the mixture and pour it into a spray bottle. I used a glass one, but you can use a plain plastic spray bottle, it will do the trick.

3.As needed, spray your pooch’s itchy spots for instant relief! You can leave it on or use a damp cloth to rinse it out of your dog’s coat if the mild vinegar-y smell bothers you. The itch-relieving spray should be kept in a fridge for up to a week.

Although this should go without saying, this anti-itch spray won’t help your dog’s allergies, dermatitis, or any other medical condition. If your dog is scratching constantly or intensively even after you spritzed them with this natural remedy, take them to a vet to eliminate any underlying health issue that could be causing the itch.
