The animals in this story so far have been amazing at what they do and it just goes to show just how alike humans and animals are, in this next one, we're about to see just how brave dogs can be and how helpful they are when it comes to solving cases! The story starts off with an amazing dog named Kyle who noticed that something was off.

What Kyle Saw

He felt impelled to see his dog's intense focus on the tree, but he knew it would be difficult. His hands grew cold, and he could feel his heart pounding. If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he wouldn't have believed what he had discovered.

Something Was Wrong

It was similar to going on hikes with Kyle every other day until they realized something wasn't quite right. He was acting strangely; he was tense and carefully smelling the area. Perhaps this was a habit from his time as a service animal?

Kyle Wasn't Done Yet

In any case, there was unquestionably a problem. Before the Smiths, Kyle had visited the other two households. The final two only lasted a short while since he still had more crime-fighting to accomplish and hadn't yet retired as a police canine. Naturally, Kyle wasn't through with his investigation.

Gentle Soul

With his extensive police background, Kyle possessed strong data collecting skills; he was a true investigator. But when it came to the desire to be violent, it wasn't in his nature. He would always stand up for any police he had worked with, even his new family, if he so chose.

A New Partner

When Kyle gained his new partner, Officer John, his training began, and he swiftly learned to be more forceful when the occasion called for it. Additionally, he will risk his life to win over his new love. Without a doubt, his new lover has motivated him to the fullest extent of his abilities.

A Great Duo

Normally, assistance dogs would patrol with multiple police officers, but Kyle didn't react to Officer John the same way he did. They worked well together and had a unique relationship. Kyle was John's adoptive child, therefore they were always on call.

Parting Ways

When Kyle's period ended, John wanted to hold him, but he couldn't look after him while he was at work. He gave the Smiths permission to adopt the dog in an effort to do what was best for the animal. Officer John, though, was undoubtedly saddened by the separation from his partner.

Every Dog's Dream

By strolling, Kyle and the Smiths are establishing a connection. They ultimately exercised a lot more than they had previously. Up until that point, they went for daily walks in the hills. Their home was in the country, surrounded by a sizable forest.

An Unexpected Discovery

Any typical dog would run riot in the woods hunting all sorts of animals, which was a huge benefit for Kyle. Kyle, though, has discovered something different. What in the world had Kyle found? Regardless of its size, we're about to find out!

A Drastic Change

They started walking with Kyle bound in front of them as the day began as normal. After following their usual journey, Kyle urged that a different road be chosen. The family noticed their dog was acting very suspiciously at that point.

Acting Odd

Kyle had never been away from home for so long. With his new family, he loved their frequent hikes in the woods, but today there was something odd that they hadn't anticipated. It was as if a switch had been flipped, and Kyle had completely changed!

Strange Behavior

After a time, Kyle displayed strange behavior. He had stopped eating and remained silent. On the drive, though, he seemed content, his tail bouncing and running through the forest. When he was still in motion, they could tell that this was how he needed to be.

Old Habits

When he started to bury his nose in the ground and take a course that was only recognizable to him, his old instincts from his time as a police officer kicked in. The family attempted to entice him back to the route, but he may have become distracted by the aroma.

Finding The Scent

It wasn't very unusual for dogs to occasionally walk about and smell the ground. Kyle would take in all the fauna as they strolled. He also discovered that someone was still sporting outdated clothing. Kyle will investigate it to see if there is anything to conceal from this undiscovered track.
