Rescued Wine Candles Repurpose Wine Bottles While Helping Rescue Anima

Wine and candles and rescue animals – how romantic! Rescued Wine repurposes empty bottles to make candles, and proceeds help rescue animals all over the country. Cheers to that!

Nothing says romance like wine and candles. But we love this idea that throws recycling and rescue animals into the mix. Rescued Wine, a family-based company out of Truckee, California, makes the coolest candles that support animal rescue groups.

Rescued Wine recycles wine bottles and uses them to house 100 percent all-natural soy candles. The soy comes from soybeans that are all grown in the USA, supporting local farmers. As well, this wax burns cleanly–leaving no carcinogens, toxins or pollutants in the air as they burn. Soy candles are longer lasting than traditional paraffin candles, and are biodegradable and water-soluble.

But what we think is the best about these cool candles is Rescued Wine’s commitment to animal rescue groups (hence, Rescued Wine. Get it?)! Every candle sale results in a donation to local animal rescue groups, a passion of Rescued Wine. That means that they not only help save the planet, but precious pups in the process.

Hot gifts that save the planet and save animals at the same time? Yes, please! Prices are super reasonable and ‘wine’ flavors range from floral rieslings to musky merlots. You can also find some delicious organic soaps–perfect for when you’re in the bath with the candle burning.
