This just in: an adorable kitten decides that the news is boring. Her solution: walk through a reporter’s live newscast and capture the hearts of the TV crew and viewers.

Why can’t all news stories be as cute as this one? A 6-week-old stray kitten took a shine to WXYZ Channel 7 reporter Nima Shaffee as he was reporting live from a Michigan parking lot.

After darting around the empty parking lot, hiding under the news van and playing with the crew, she let Shaffee pick her up to finish up the segment. Now named Lucky Seven, she was taken to the Humane Society of Huron Valley and will be available for adoption in the coming weeks.
