Tired of sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping? Then the Trifo Lucy Robot Vacuum is made just for you – and we’ve tried it out!

We’re always on the lookout for smart, practical gadgets and accessories that make pet parents’ lives easier – if it gets us more time with our furballs, it’s worth trying out! Of course, one of the main chores that pet parents spend – not to say waste – time on is cleaning after our pets. Whether it’s tracking muddy paw prints, leaving tufts of hair all over the place, stinky jelly beans, or even minor accidents in the house, it’s undeniable that most pets make a lot of mess. Not that it makes us love them any less! Even so, tidying up after them can quickly become taxing, so we jumped at the opportunity to give another vacuum robot a try and see how well it fares in a home of a pet parent with not one but two dogs.

We’ve already had a chance to test out one of Trifo’s robot vacuums with Ollie, their special pet-friendly design optimized for families with cats or dogs – spoiler alert, it was awesome. But now, we wanted to see how their flagship design, Lucy Ultra, fares with the grime, hair, and other messes pets are known for. Surprisingly, it performs as well as Ollie who was designed with pets in mind – but with few key differences.

Lucy Ultra robot vacuum boasts a premium AI design that relies on a variety of smart features to deliver impressive results – this vacuum cleaner learns as it cleans, making sure that your home is spotless, whether you live in a spacious house with more than one floor, or in a cramped apartment with plenty of obstacles to avoid. Thanks to the industry's first dual cameras and Time-of-Flight (ToF) depth sensors, Lucy Ultra is a pro when it comes to detecting and avoiding obstacles be it an armchair or a sleeping pet – this nifty little robot will not disturb anyone or anything while it’s meticulously vacuuming and mopping up messes. The best part is that it can detect objects as small as one inch, so you won’t be losing your favorite earring to the vacuum’s powerful suck.

And while we’re on the subject, when it comes to its ability to clean every little bit of crumbs, dust, and debris, Lucy Ultra doesn’t disappoint. It is equipped with 4000Pa suction power which really does hoover up every stray hair, crumble, and dust bunny it comes across in its path – whether it’s on the carpet, hardwood floors, or tiles. It even has interchangeable extractors so you can customize the cleaning to your needs and liking – whether it’s to eliminate pesky hair from carpets or pick up dirt from sleek wooden floors. And, to make it even better, while Lucy Ultra takes care of the messes, it also leaves behind a pleasant scent thanks to its automatic air refresher. Basically, you won’t have to lift a finger and you’ll have a clean, fresh-smelling home while you’re cuddling with your pet in the meantime. Perfect, right?

After everything is vacuumed to perfection, Lucy Ultra can lend a helping hand with yet another chore – mopping. It has a large electric water tank and comes with 3 changeable mopping pads so your floors will be shiny, clean, and ready to get mucked up again by your pet in no time. But, hey, at least it’s not you that’ll need to clean it, it’s Lucy’s job!

While there are a number of really great features that deserve to be mentioned, such as the night camera and motion detection, as pet parents, we’ll stick to what interests our pets more than us – the clever built-in laser pointer. We’ve seen one in Ollie and it was a huge hit – I mean, it redirects the attention from the little robot doing its job, so it's heaven sent if you have a curious pooch or a cat. You can set your four-legged bestie on a chase for the red dot while the cleaning is being done, and cram up quality playtime while Lucy Ultra does the chores for you.
